Takia Starks formerly played Professional Women’s Basketball in top tier leagues in Western Australia, Finland and Switzerland. Starks (Texas A&M Basketball, 2005-09) graduated as the leading scorer in Texas A&M Women's Basketball history with 1,977 points and currently ranks third on that list. Starks became the first Aggie in school history to be named preseason First-Team All-America. She currently holds the record for the most three pointers made. T.Kay was a starter all four years and helped led the Aggies to the NCAA Tournament in each of those seasons.

“During my youth AAU basketball propelled me into the spotlight on a national level. Most importantly, I remember the various coaches and mentors who dedicated their time to teach and train me to improve on and off the court. The countless sacrifices and guidance from my parents along with the support of these individuals has compelled me to pay it forward to the youth today.” ~T.Kay
